“Becoming a visual artist seems a natural progression in my life. My initial creative outlet was musical. That evolved into work in the practical arts which morphed into painting. In design school I had an awesome art teacher named Foon Sham. The ideas he planted in my brain never left me and have blossomed into a career in art.”
“My favorite toy as a child was Legos, not the sets with predetermined outcomes, just the plain blocks in varying sizes and solid colors representing endless possibilities. It’s curious that my art can be described in the same way.”
